Project Rules
Last updated: 19 October 2026
These Project Rules govern access to the website, account dashboard, API, and generated quotation services provided by QUOTC LLC (“QUOTC”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
1. Nature of the service
QUOTC provides algorithmically generated OTC currency quotations through an API.
These quotations are not official exchange quotations, actual interbank rates, executable market prices, or records of real transactions. They do not reflect actual market conditions.
Use of the service is subject to these Rules, the Risk Warning, the Disclaimer, the Privacy Policy, and any separate agreement expressly concluded with QUOTC.
2. Accounts and credentials
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials and API keys confidential.
You are responsible for activities performed through your account and for taking reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access. Notify support promptly if you suspect that your credentials have been compromised.
You must not use another person’s account or attempt to access information, keys, or support requests belonging to another user.
3. Test access
Each account is eligible for one free test key providing access to EUR/USD for 30 days from creation.
The server IP must be specified when creating the key. Extensions require approval through support.
Deleting a test key does not automatically create an entitlement to another free test period.
4. Production access
Production access costs 500 USD per month for each production key and covers the 28 currency pairs listed on the Product page.
Each key is administered and paid for separately. Creating a key does not constitute payment or activation.
Activation takes place manually after payment confirmation. The access period begins when the administrator activates the key. The expiry date and time are set manually and displayed in your dashboard.
For a period other than the standard monthly offering, the price and duration must be agreed with support before payment.
Renewals are handled manually. Creating another key does not activate, renew, or extend an existing key.
5. Server IP and access restrictions
Each key is linked to the server IP supplied during creation. Users cannot change that IP themselves; changes must be requested through support.
Access depends on the key’s status, expiry date, permitted currency pairs, and server IP.
Access to all listed currency pairs does not mean unlimited requests or connections. Applicable technical limits are specified in the API documentation or agreed service terms.
6. Payments
Payments are currently accepted in USDT on the TRC20 network. Request the wallet address through a support ticket or the official manager contact linked from the Payment page.
Check the destination address, network, and amount before transferring funds. Never send wallet recovery phrases or private keys to support.
Payment confirmation, activation, and renewal are processed manually. A payment message or receipt does not itself activate a key.
7. Cancellation and refunds within 14 days
You may request cancellation and a refund within 14 days after the relevant payment. The refund is reduced proportionally by the cost of quotation access already provided under that payment.
The 14-day request window starts when the payment is received by QUOTC. It does not restart when the key is activated or first used.
To request a refund, create a support ticket or email info@quotc.net, identifying your account, the affected key, and the payment transaction. Do not include the full API key.
The refund is calculated as follows:
Refund = amount paid for the affected access period − proportional cost of access already provided.
The proportional cost is calculated using the agreed price and total duration of that paid period. Partial days are calculated proportionally using recorded timestamps.
For this calculation:
Access starts when the relevant paid period becomes available.
Time during which access was available counts even if you did not connect or request quotations.
Time before activation does not count as provided access.
Time during which QUOTC did not make the contracted access available is excluded.
The calculation ends when QUOTC receives your clear cancellation and refund request. Administrative processing time does not increase the deduction.
If no access under the affected payment has been provided, the refundable amount is the full amount of that payment, subject to applicable law.
For example, if an agreed 30-day period costs 500 USD and 6 days of access have been provided, the proportional charge is 100 USD and the refund is 400 USD.
A refund request cancels the affected access period. Access under that period will be disabled. Other keys and separately paid periods are unaffected unless included in the request.
8. Cancellation after 14 days
If you voluntarily cancel after the 14-day window following the relevant payment, the payment is not recalculated or refunded, including for unused time remaining in the paid access period.
You may request immediate termination or allow access to expire without renewal. Choosing not to use the service does not create a refund entitlement after that window.
This rule concerns voluntary cancellation. It does not exclude remedies required by law for non-delivery, a defective service, or another breach by QUOTC.
9. Refund processing
Refunds are processed manually after verification of the payment and calculation of the refundable amount.
Support will provide the calculation and confirm the refund arrangements. Refunds will be made without undue delay and within any deadline required by applicable law.
You may be asked to verify ownership of the account and provide an appropriate return destination. Never provide a wallet’s private key or recovery phrase.
Closing a ticket or deleting a key is not, by itself, a cancellation or refund request. A request must clearly state that cancellation and a refund are sought.
10. Acceptable use
You must not:
Attempt to bypass authentication, IP restrictions, expiry dates, or technical limits.
Interfere with the service or send abusive traffic.
Access, copy, or disclose another user’s information.
Use the service for unlawful or fraudulent activity.
Present generated quotations as official exchange data or actual market prices.
You are responsible for the lawful operation of any project using QUOTC data, including its customer disclosures and regulatory requirements.
11. Restrictions and suspension
QUOTC may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address suspected credential compromise, abusive traffic, unlawful activity, or a material breach of these Rules.
Suspension does not automatically pause or extend a paid period. Any refund, extension, or other remedy remains subject to the circumstances, these Rules, and applicable law.
12. Support and related documents
Use Project Support in your dashboard for access, payment, renewal, and technical requests.
Do not submit full API keys, passwords, wallet recovery phrases, or unnecessary confidential information in tickets or attachments.
The Risk Warning and Disclaimer explain the risks and limitations associated with generated quotations. The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is processed.
13. Mandatory rights and changes
Nothing in these Rules limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer cancellation, refund, and service-conformity rights.
Where legally required, starting a paid service during a statutory withdrawal period is subject to the user’s express request and the required disclosures. Any proportional deduction applies only where permitted by law.
Changes to these Rules will be published with an updated date. They will not retrospectively reduce refund rights attached to an existing payment.
